I believe that you may have overstated what an executor can do legally. An executor cannot be self-serving and put himself/herself as managing member of a LLC for inherited property. I would also think the honorable thing to do would be have a fair operating agreement for all beneficiaries. If a LLC member wanted to be bought out, the agreement should state the member would be given market value of the property for his/share of the LLC. Don’t forget this LLC member is a family member.
